Out at 7am and heading towards Kjetil's cabin at Svinør - a total of about 50 nm. Gray weather and no wind.

We have breakfast along the way, and Morten is at the back of the boat fixing eggs and bacon. The chartplotter shows the way through a strait with a bridge, but when we check it turns out that the bridge is too low!! Good thing we find out before it's too late.

Eventually we get to Kjetil, and after an anchor drama in Vue Mer, it's time to put on our rain gear and go get some water! He's just put out a lot of water for us to draw (and eat the contents!)

It's going to be an incredibly fun experience. Lots of crayfish and crabs and some lobsters we have to throw back. It's extra fun that some of the guys haven't done it before.

Heading to Kjetil's cabin and cooking up some food, before we feast into the evening! A very satisfied group retreating to Vue Mer for a few hours of sleep.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
