Nice but wet day sailing of 73 nm to Anholt.

It's exciting to look out the hatch when we wake up - what does it look like here and where are we? But no danger, the place is very cozy and we are anchored at a safe distance from other boats.

It will be a wet trip to Anholt, and we are starting to run low on fuel. We therefore choose to slow down a bit and fill up our two reserve cans. Fortunately, we arrive safely and choose to fill up on fuel inside Anholt Harbor before we find a spot.

We're leaving early the next morning, so we're choosing to lay longside on the outside of the pier. There's not much wind forecast for the night, so it should be fine.

The rain has stopped, and when we get to land we are very excited. Here are all the facilities, neat and tidy, and very idyllic.

We go to the nearest restaurant to get some good food. The kitchen is actually closed, but of course they can cook something for us - this is the kind of service we like! The place also has live music, and there are two Norwegians who sing a little - very good.

Unfortunately, we don't get to see any of the island, but Anholt is definitely a place we could consider returning to.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
