Morning time Visby
Morning time Visby

The weather ahead contains some wind. Today there is a lot of rain in the forecast, and wind gusts over 35 knots later in the day, so we are heading out as early as 1/2 4 in the morning to reach the mainland before there are too many waves and wind.

The weather is glorious when we go out, and we get another great sunrise. But soon the fog sets in, and we don't see land until we're 100 meters away.

A bit of an exciting approach to the bay the harbor is located in, as it is very narrow and shallow with a maximum of 10-20 cm of clearance under the keel. But as usual Navionics helps us through and we are soon well moored in the harbor ready for the crappy weather to come.

Clearly this is not a place where many Norwegians visit, because one boat after another comes and welcomes us "Norbaggare". The girls take a walk on land and just manage to play some basketball, then the rain and wind come! It's nice to have a big and warm boat to enjoy the rest of the day!

Towards evening, our friends from "Tu can tango" also come into the harbor, and we meet for a little chat before we go to bed. It's good to be in a safe harbor as it's now pouring with rain, and the wind gusts up high are closer to 17-19 m/s.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
