Herman at the helm
Herman at the helm

After breakfast with M&T, we set course north.

The wind is great, so we have big plans to sail a pointed sail the whole way. But when we go to roll out the jib, it is completely stuck. There are a lot of waves and the Skipper wants the crew to stay on the foredeck more than necessary, so we choose to motor sail with only the mainsail.

Winds 10-12 m/s then 8-9 knots in beautiful weather. After 8 hours we arrive at Son, and get a nice longside spot.

You know you've been out for so long in the bright sun and lots of wind, so it tastes great with shellfish platter and good wine at Sjøboden.

Towards evening, Cecilie and Johannes knock on the door. It turns out that they are on a trip with their Windy down the coast, and are right across from us on the pier. After a short tour of Vue Mer, we gather in their boat and have a pleasant evening together until late at night.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
