Castle visit, and we arrive on Öland

We take a ride in Kalmar on scooters before we move on.

Start with breakfast at Café Lotsutkiken which is located facing the strait. Then a walk and visit Kalmar Castle. A beautiful park around the castle, and very impressive and fun to walk around the castle with lots of great exhibitions and different plays and activities around. Among other things, a separate exhibition about the witch trials in Sweden at the end of the 17th century - many gripping stories there.

We also take a walk through the city center, and fall in love with Kalmar as a place.

There is a forecast for heavy thunderstorms and rain for the evening, so we have to move on, and at 1 o'clock we set sail. We are met with fresh wind when we go out, and it eventually gets up to 15 m/s in the casts. But the trail goes inside Öland, so fortunately there won't be much sea.

Once we arrive, the guest harbor is full, but we find a nice longside spot right next to it where we are also protected from the wind.

There will be another trip with scooters into the city center where magnets for the fridge and football cards will be bought. Dinner will be taken at one of the brewery restaurants with a small cocktail for everyone before the meal.

The girls end the day with a little mini golf before the rain comes, but we avoid the thunderstorm.
