A bit of a sad day as it is departure day for Ida, Olivia and Matheo!


Herman takes the kids to town for shopping, while Ida and Skipper clean and do the laundry.


We only have space until 12:00, so we move the boat to the Opera pier where it is not really allowed to dock!


Follow the gang to the train at 2 o'clock and say goodbye for now. When we return, Tu Can Tango just arrives, with only one engine working - festive!


Herman goes and meets Preber who is coming by ferry from Denmark. A glass of wine and a drink on the pier, and a little shopping for provisions, before we head out to a Korean restaurant for dinner.


Now we are looking forward to tomorrow, where the forecast is for brilliant weather and great winds!

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
