4 hours of sleep, and we are on our way again. But this time to Brunsbüttel where the first lock to the Kiel Canal is.

Going through the lock of the Kiel Canal at the same time as the floodgates of heaven open! Clearly a good time, as we only have to wait ten minutes before we are allowed to enter the lock.


It is not allowed to travel on the canal after 9:30 PM, so we dock in Brunsbüttel, which is located right after the lock.


Here you will have a delicious German dinner, and it will be even more delicious to lie down in the boat afterwards to catch up on some sleep.
