Jul 26

Then it's the last day with locks, bridges and canals.

Fortunately, it comes loose easily when we go out, and with good help from the entire crew, it goes brilliantly in the last lock.

There is a strong tailwind, so we are sailing down at 9-10 knots. Only bridge openings hinder us on our way to Gothenburg. As usual, we are lucky with the weather, and there is a break all the way until we moor in Lilla Bommen in Gothenburg.

Let's have some lunch before we meet Herman at the train station. He and Preber will be on the last leg home to Oslo.

A trip to Liseberg in the evening in the rain, where countless activities are tested out. Some also test more than others! A great end to the day when both children each win a big bag of chips.

It's good to get back to the boat and take off your wet clothes and find peace after a long day.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
