8 nm to Brest in partly windy conditions

Very tough conditions both when we set out from Camaret-sur-Mer, and not least when we dock in Brest. A narrow bay, 10-12 m/s gusting wind, 4 knot current, and boats ahead and behind - but it goes without incident after a couple of attempts.

Spending the day washing the boat and fixing various small things, while the kids go to the aquarium.

It's Frederick's last night on board, and the closing dinner will be the "Empire State" burger - definitely big enough!!

In the evening, Linh finally arrives, who will be joining us for the next week.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
