Over the Kattegat
Over the Kattegat

Up early, shop at the baker, refuel with diesel and leave beautiful Anholt.

The fantastic weather continues and we cross over to Helsingør on completely flat water, sunny and windless the whole way. We hardly see a boat in our path.

After 9.5 hours we arrive, and lie down longside on a Canadian boat that is on a really long trip. Nice to have a chat.

We take a trip ashore in the afternoon, and Helsingør surprises us very positively. There are lots of restaurants down by the harbor, a really exciting Street Food hall just five minutes away. The Danish Ship Museum is located here and Kronborg Castle at the end of the headland is a stately place. A harbor for the whole family!

We can definitely come back here!

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
