Our first lock staircase in Berg!

What a day!! The sun is shining from a cloudless sky all day, 28 degrees in the air and 22 degrees in the water!

We get through the first lock when they open and head towards the locks in Berg - the most famous with 7 locks up a staircase, and one is raised 38.5 meters!

We have to wait 2.5 hours before we are allowed in, but it doesn't matter when the beach is right next to us, and Ida makes pizza while we wait.

There are people around the locks, and a family is filming us from the first to the last lock!

Staying overnight in the pool above the locks. Great place and lots of swimming and mini golf throughout the afternoon.

Have dinner at the Sluse Café, which will be a highlight for the kids, when there is a buffet with, among other things, a chocolate fountain for dessert!

Can sit outside in shorts until we go to bed - life is good!
