Rain, rain and more rain in Amsterdam!

It's the last day with "the whole gang," as Olivia and Herman fly home to Norway tomorrow.


It's raining and windy all day. Herman has reserved a table for brunch at Teds. Here we get chicken with donuts and syrup, as well as lots of other goodies - a great place and very popular.


The skipper heads back to fix the boat (there have been some rough patches along the way!), while the crew finds indoor activities. "Fabric des Lumieres" and mini golf under fluorescent lights!


We will have our closing dinner at the restaurant in our harbor, with a view of the city.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
