We finally hoist the sails on our trip to Saint-Marine at 31 nm.

Brilliant weather and finally more wind from behind so we can hoist sails as soon as we get out. We put on autopilot and have breakfast and lunch along the way. Along the way we get lots of visits from dolphins and enjoy the sun - this time with sunscreen!

Get a great longside spot in Saint-Marine, and quickly go ashore to reserve a table for the evening at "le Café du Port". Before dinner we take the ferry over to Benodet to take a look. Not really that exciting a place, so we quickly head back.

Dinner is very good, from delicious oysters, meat dishes and a fantastic shellfish platter including Brest Crab. Actually, everyone is very full, but we have to stop by the Creperiet in the next building before we head in.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
