75 nm to Vieland with brilliant sun and very shallow waters!

Saying goodbye to Herman and Olivia at ten o'clock - a bit sad and strange!

Excited when we go through the lock again on our way out, with just the two of us on board, but it goes like a dream.

The sun has returned, and it will be a lovely trip further north. As we approach our destination for the day, Vlieland, we will experience what it is like to navigate in the Netherlands with sandbanks and shallows far out from land. We will be winding slowly so as not to risk anything.

The approach itself is tough and narrow, with a lot of side currents and a narrow entrance. But the harbor itself is very cozy with lots of typical Dutch boats in the harbor and a good restaurant.

We end another long day with delicious food in the restaurant.
