The good weather continues, not a cloud and completely calm. We will have a long and pleasant chat with our neighboring boat from Canada before we leave for Copenhagen. We will also get some input and tips for our trip, and we also have some tips for them regarding equipment.

Once out of the harbor there is not a breath of wind and bright sunshine - we are just enjoying the nice weather!

The approach to Copenhagen has changed due to the development of a new large area just outside. This means that we have to use the same approach as the large ships. No boats heading in or out when we arrive, so it's painless.

It turns out that the city center is completely full, but we find a place on Langeline. It turns out to be a very good choice. All the facilities we need, and the "Little Mermaid" and Amalienborg Palace as our closest neighbors.

Take a ride on scooters at Sightseeing and end up at "Seaside". A fun place located along the approach and where you can order different types of food and drinks and sit down wherever you want. We end up in deck chairs with a drink in our hand while enjoying the view of the approach to Copenhagen. The return trip to the boat goes through the park in Amalienborg, also a place to visit!

Eventually Olivia and Hilde Thea, who have flown in from Norway, finally arrive. It's good to have our daughter down, and it's very nice to have Hilde Thea visit. The weather is beautiful, and we finally get to take our first swim of the trip - the water is actually 21 degrees.

Kick- and Rollerskating trip in the evening where we end up at Seaside again for some food and drinks. We also stop at a couple of caches before we get back on the boat.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
