50 nm with motor then no wind, but glorious weather.

Cloudless day but unfortunately no wind. Simmering upwards at 7-8 knots and arriving at Kilesand on Sør Koster at 4 o'clock. Anchoring up and enjoying a GT in the sun.

Suddenly there is a heavy rain shower with a lot of wind, and three boats in front of us drift off and hit us. For a period there are three boats hanging on our anchor, but fortunately we don't break loose. It's all because one of the boats had only laid out about 10 meters of chain at a depth of 5 meters!

Luckily it's going well for us but a bit damaged for some of the others, but definitely a lot of action, so much so that the crew gets their "injuries".

The wind calms down once the shower has passed, and we have a lovely and calm evening after that.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
