We end the Göta Kanal and go out into Vänern

Then it's our last day in the Göta canal!


Through the first lock when it opens, and after that it goes quickly. At 13:00 we arrive in Sjötorp which is the end/start of the Göta Canal. We hand over our cards and tickets, dock and have lunch in town.




We decide to go to Mariestad for the night, but an hour into the journey we find out that we have to pass a 17-meter bridge to get there! We can't get under that, so we turn around and head for the outport of Lindökroken, where TuCanTango is also heading.


Very nice harbor, where we can even lie longside on the pier!


It will be a really nice "last" evening with the gang from TwoCanTango, where both young and old enjoy swimming, fishing, food and drink, and a little exploration of the island.
