We get to feel the swells from the sea and test the mooring buoy for the first time.

We leave the Bay of Biscay and moor in Sainte-Évette after a strenuous trip of 32 nm.
It will be a damp start to the day with lots of rain. We bunker diesel just across the bay before setting course outwards.
The rain eventually lets up, but when we round the headland and head further north, we get the swells from the Atlantic almost right into the side. This means that more and more of the crew feel the onset of seasickness. We therefore decide to shorten the planned trip and instead stick to Sainte-Évette.
They are actually mooring buoys for smaller boats, but we are lucky and find one a little out on the edge that is available. Good for everyone to get into a little rougher waters, and the Taco we are making tastes really good!
We take a short trip to the beach in a dinghy, before finding peace in the boat with card games and other things.
As we sit in the boat, we suddenly hear a bang - it turns out that it's the neighbor's mooring buoy that has blown across. Luckily, it's going well, but a good reminder that you should never trust the mooring 100 percent.
