The last day of the holiday and of course the sun is shining from a cloudless sky!


Stop by the baker in Son and fix some sails before we head out. Unfortunately the wind is against us so we'll be motoring and sunbathing the whole way - and enjoying life!


Moored at the buoy at 3:00 PM, and swimming and cleaning the boat before we get in the car.


40 days of vacation are over for now. 40 days with lots of great experiences, exciting places, nice people, lots of nice weather, everyone has stayed healthy and Vue Mer is fantastic to be on a trip with.


Now we are just looking forward to next year and the long trip!!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
