We're sailing across the highway!

Lots of locks at the beginning of the day, and then lots of bridges and not least two aqueducts where we drive OVER the road!


Through all the locks there are lots of people watching, and along the canal there are lots of cyclists on tour waving at us. Fascinating to ride on the canal. Through buildings, then fields with cows and sheep, then through the forest - and the whole time everything is quiet and peaceful around you!


Finally docks in Borensberg where Matheo is on land and helps open the last lock - tough job!


The kids are quickly in the water once we've moored, we eat dinner on land and try the local ice cream. Enjoying the evening in the boat on another lovely summer evening while the sheep graze next to us - Idyll!

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
