106 nm covered in glorious weather but no wind on the way to Dieppe.

Out again at six in the morning. It will be a fantastic day with brilliant sunshine the whole trip, and almost no waves. We motorsail the whole way, sunbathe and relax. We choose to take advantage of the nice weather and sail over 105 nm.

We have no connection to Dieppe, but it turns out to be a very cozy place. After being assigned a seat in the harbor, we take a trip ashore to get something to eat.

Fascinating that the harbor is located exactly in a pit with the city around it. We find a cozy bistro where we sit down. During the meal we are visited by a Norwegian lady who lives in France. She had heard us talking, and thought it was so cool to talk to some Norwegians again. (Actually the first Norwegian we have met since we left!)

We actually plan to leave very early tomorrow, but she tells us that tomorrow is market day in Dieppe, and this market has been voted the best in France several years in a row - the choice is easy for us, we have to visit this tomorrow before we leave!

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
