Swansea
Swansea

Out at 03.45 in the morning in the direction of Bornholm.

We get side seas for the first two hours as we have to go around the shooting range, but then the conditions are great.

Sunrise and sun all day.

Sailing away at 8-9 knots on a pointed sail, and Olivia sleeps until almost 11:00. There is a bit of chaos when we are going to furl the jib before heading into Svaneke, as one of the other halyards has twisted around the furl, but luckily it gets sorted out, and after 10 hours we are safely moored in Svaneke.

The whole gang is pretty tired, so besides a little shopping in town, we're enjoying ourselves on the boat with Tacos and the European Football Championship.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
