We rent electric bikes and get a big surprise when we explore the island.

We need some peace and quiet, and fortunately decide to explore the island another day.


The weather forecast says it's too windy for us to want to go on a long leg, so we choose to stay another day on Ile d'Yeu.

I spend the morning fixing various things on the boat and washing some clothes and bedding.

The weather is great, so we figure we'll spend the afternoon renting electric bikes and exploring the island.

It will be a truly wonderful experience. A fantastic island and nature that gives the feeling of being 50 years back at least, and all three are having a great time.


Dinner is eaten in the city center at a small, cozy Creperie.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
