Finally on the move again, this time 38 nm to L'Aber Wrac'h in lovely calm weather.

After far too many days in Brest, we move on, without trust!

It will be a calm and nice voyage through the "Chenal du Four" but quite strenuous navigation throughout most of the trip. Linh is nervous that she will get seasick along the way, but the whole trip goes completely painlessly for her.

There are storms forecast for the next two days, so we decide to stay in L'Aber Wrac'h and wait for better weather.

When we arrive at the port we are greeted warmly and shown to our place. It is always nice and exciting to arrive at new ports, and it doesn't take long before we are on land and find a place to have dinner. We end up at a small restaurant right by the pier, and the food tastes absolutely delicious! Tomorrow there is a forecast of some rain in the morning, so we are closing all the hatches and looking forward to a morning where we can sleep as long as we want.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
