We test beach life

Brilliant weather when we wake up, but strong winds as forecast. However, we have prepared ourselves with a beach lifeguard, so today there will be a "barbecue" on the beach.


There's a big show on the pier when we get up. A new ship for the Polish navy is coming by, and there's a big show with a parade and a band.

 

We start with breakfast at a cafe on the beach, before finding a spot in the sun. It's too cold in the water, but we'll play and sunbathe instead.


If we feel we've had enough of Ustka now, we'll have football and dinner on the boat and then go to bed early. Tomorrow we have to get up at 3am!

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
