It's a glorious morning in Marstrand, and we're having breakfast outside.

We hoist sail as soon as we have cast off, and have a nice sharp sail north to Käringöen. There are as usual a lot of boats here, and we choose to anchor out in the bay at a depth of 6-7 meters.

We take the dinghy ashore to see if we can get a table for the evening, and also take the opportunity to look around the shops. Unfortunately we can't get a table at Peterson Krog, so we stay at Havshotellet instead.

It's a lovely and warm afternoon, and the crew takes their first bath of the year! A little power nap, and we head back for a delicious dinner.

There will also be an evening tour of the island with a visit to Prestegården and GT with homemade tonic. A great end to the day with the full moon shining from a cloudless sky.

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, our names are Ida and Anders.

This is the story of how we, with completely different backgrounds and experiences from sea life, work together towards our great goal.

This page tries to collect our experiences at sea as a family. From the humble beginnings of renting a boat in Croatia, our first own boat, Step by Step, to our new boat, Vue Mer II.

The goal is for the family to embark on a sailing trip on the seven seas within a few years.
